Jenn brings with her years of sourdough experimentation and self-reliance in several forms. In this workshop, she will teach you the basics of mixing a sourdough starter, how to keep it alive, how to mix a “wet dough”, how to shape a proper loaf and how to bake your own bread. You will learn about the history of sourdough bread and have all your curiosity and questions answered! Jenn has designed this class so you will learn the entire process step by step. All participants will sample the delicious sourdough along with a scrumptious bowl of soup, and go home with some to share. A jar of fermented sourdough starter will also go home with you~ you'll be ready to bake all winter long!
