JOIN IN ON THE FUN!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of every not for profit, member owned grocery market and food co-operative. We at MNGFC are truly grateful for the member-owners who donate their time and talent in support of this community initiative. We WANT TO engage a wonderful and large group of people to help us run the co-op! Then… we WILL be building skills, sharing knowledge, opening doors for future employment, and keeping costs down, and fulfilling our mission to make good food accessible!

We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers to help with

  • Grocery Market

    This is a fun and multi-functional area for volunteering! We have openings from receiving food deliveries and assisting customers to packing bulk foods and pricing. Since training is required for this work, we are looking specifically for volunteers who can commit to a regular weekly shift (or shifts) if possible.

  • Students

    We are happy to accommodate students aged 15+ seeking volunteer hours for academic purposes. Please email us at info@muskokanorthfood.com if you are a student looking for volunteer opportunities. Student volunteers are not required to be member-owners of Muskoka North Good Food Co-op.

  • Community events and special Co-op functions

    These are ad-hoc opportunities and we often need a lot of volunteers for short periods of time. Tasks include event planning and decor, food preparation and service, canvassing and more!
